Restoration: Bringing a beautiful, original Elm floor back to life
These original Elm planks were looking very sad and tired. After consultation with our client it was decided to keep them as natural as possible and not to sand them.
Instead they were carefully cleaned eight separate times. Once dry, they were dry polished and then two coats of Osmo uk polyx Satin Hardwax Oil was hand applied.
It’s a time consuming but incredibly rewarding process. What do you think?
